well, it was mighty ducks (released as champions in australia). that’s right, the early 90’s phenomenon that was a masterpiece of the pee-wee hockey portrayal. i’d kind of forgotten about this film until i restarted obsessing over dawson’s creek - joshua jackson, undoubtedly my biggest celebrity crush ;) plays both pacey witter on dawson’s and charlie conway in mighty ducks. man, am i glad i’m revisiting it. it’s just one of those classic pre-millennium disney movies that will never, ever get old. if you somehow haven’t seen this gem at any point in your youth.. well, it’s never too late. go to the dvd store. now. i recommend you also hire out the sequel, D2: the mighty ducks, while you’re there.

anywho, while i was googling for some pictures of the cast during filming, i stumbled across the following here:

- someone quacks.
- someone refers to coach bombay’s hockey past.
- someone says, “duck,” or, “ducks.”
- someone scores a goal.
- someone says, “cake-eater.”
- you want to slap averman in the face.
- a coach gives a speech.
